Our 20th Advisory Board meeting took place in the beautiful new facilities of IKEM – the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy, and Mobility. In addition to current topics regarding the consolidation of the alliance, the focus was on our activities at the Poppendorf site in CAMPFIRE AG’s Green Ammonia ChemPark. The first building block for the Green Ammonia ChemPark was created by the alliance partners with the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab. The alliance leadership also reported to the advisory board on the launch of three new CAMPFIRE projects at the beginning of the year: the Clean Hydrogen JU EU project COUPLE, with CAMPFIRE AG participating as a partner, as well as the BMWE projects Neilos and NH3Avi, and the alliance’s other current project developments in the field of ammonia energy. Starting in April, the CAMPFIRE site in Poppendorf will be transferred to a newly founded research institute, CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab gGmbH, established by CAMPFIRE AG and three institutional partners, and operated for technology development in an open-air laboratory and industry-relevant environment. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our advisory board for their valuable ideas and recommendations, as well as their long-standing and reliable support.
