CAMPFIRE spokeswoman Dr. Angela Kruth and CAMPFIRE partner Maik Bäumer, Inherent Solution Consult (ISC) were able to take part in a great business trip from MV to the city of Esbjerg — organized by Rostock Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Business Esbjerg and led by our State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Employment Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Jochen Schulte. We visited Port Esbjerg, Blue Water Shipping, Semco Maritime, NICON INDUSTRIES A/S and DIN Forsyning and had very interesting and groundbreaking discussions. The companies in Esbjerg, which has developed from a former fishing town into one of the most important port and industrial locations in Northern Europe, show impressive flexibility and speed in the introduction of new energy technologies. We were impressed by how synergies between old and new business areas are skillfully exploited and how strong global partnerships are formed to jointly develop new markets. We would like to thank our colleagues from Rostock Business, IHK Rostock and Invest in MV as well as all other participants of the business trip for a really great time. We look forward to working with you to get the inspiration and new ideas for our region off the ground.
