An important milestone for our project: 300 membranes were successfully produced by our partner Fraunhofer IKTS in Hermsdorf for the membrane reactor for the self-compressing combustion of ammonia! Thanks to the innovative reactor design of our partner Maston AB, the membrane inserts can be changed quickly for flexible testing of different membrane geometries. In total, the reactor will contain 130 meters of active membrane length. Technologies that use ammonia directly for energy production are important key components to achieve our clean energy goals. We are proud of this progress and look forward to the final project phase.
