A very intriguing location for the Ammonia Workshop of Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, organised by German Energy Agency (dena) at Fabrik 23 GmbH in a proper Berliner Hinterhof. More surprising the title though : „Ammonia as a Hydrogen Transport Vector — Vision Or Fiction“. To all of us who have been pushing green ammonia over the past years, it is actually already reality. This great series of events enables a group of well-selected stakeholders from within and outside of the ammonia sphere to exchange in an amazingly open and productive atmosphere. Discussions may be heated at times, but all of us are joint so closely by our concern about the climate and the ever-shrinking time window for the energy transition. At the end of the first workshop last week, most of the participants opted for a 2045 vision based on ammonia playing a very major part in the future energy economy.
The next workshop will be on ammonia safety — we are very much looking forward to exchange on this with everyone who is still in doubt.
