The CAMPFIRE research consortium created a roadmap for synthesising resources at the first partner workshop, held on 22 June 2018. The conclusion: the production of climate-friendly, synthetic fuels from surplus wind energy can be carried out particularly efficiently and with long-term stability if electroceramic thin-film membrane technology is utilised. The workshop brought together 25 representatives of regional and national industries, as well as politicians and scientists, to develop innovative approaches that make better use of the energy generated in regional wind farms by creating decentralised plants for the synthesis of renewable resources.
