CAMPIRE & H2Brasil — Information trip Brazil and Hydrogen Dialogue Latam

The market ramp-up of hydrogen opens up many new oppor­tu­ni­ties — for old and new indus­trial sites. The demand is enormous and the new value chains will change our world.

The H2Brasil project supports the growth of green hydrogen in Brazil and aims to improve the tech­nical, insti­tu­tional and legal condi­tions for its viabi­lity. It is part of the German-Brazi­lian coope­ra­tion for sustainable deve­lo­p­ment and is imple­mented by the Deut­sche Gesell­schaft für Inter­na­tio­nale Zusam­men­ar­beit (GIZ) GmbH and the Ministry of Mines and Energy and financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Coope­ra­tion and Deve­lo­p­ment (BMZ). Our speaker had the great honor to conduct an infor­ma­tion tour on the Brazi­lian hydrogen market toge­ther with Lars Bobzien (Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, Trans­port and Digi­ta­liza­tion), Inga Soellner (NRW.Energy4Climate), Max Chris­tian Pingen (RWE) and Sibyl Scharrer (Erneu­er­bare Ener­gien Hamburg — EEHH) as Key Opinion Leaders of the Nort­hern German states.

The first part of the super exci­ting program of our one-week trip took us to Ceará to visit EDP Brasil, Complexo do Pecém, SENAI Ceará and Sistema FIEC. The poten­tial and oppor­tu­ni­ties are enormous and the drive and moti­va­tion of the players is impressive.

Part two of our dele­ga­tion trip was the Latam Hydrogen Dialogue. It was over­whel­ming to meet so many inno­va­tive compa­nies and have exci­ting discus­sions about oppor­tu­ni­ties and future colla­bo­ra­tion. What great oppor­tu­ni­ties Brazil has for the global hydrogen, ammonia and biogenic CO2 industry. We are proud to be part of the dele­ga­tion trip and look forward to future collaboration!
