CAMPFIRE Sherpa Meeting at ENERTRAG AG in Dauerthal
Dauerthal, 22 May 2019. The strategy team met to develop a joint project for the decentralised synthesis of green ammonia. Participants also used this opportunity to visit the world’s first hydrogen-wind-biogas hybrid power plant, which has been in operation since 2011. The ENERTRAG hybrid power plant consists of three wind turbines with a capacity of 6.9 MW and two combined heat and power (CHP) plants that can be operated with biogas and hydrogen in mixed operation. Thanks to the 600 kW electrolysis system, green hydrogen can be produced and stored using wind power and, if required, converted back into electrical energy or fed into the national gas grid. https://www.enertrag.com
