A great oppor­tu­nity to get to know the CAMPFIRE partner alli­ance was offered to visi­tors of the CAMPFIRE Amphi­theater at the Long Night of Know­ledge. We got into conver­sa­tion with visi­tors to the booth about the many bene­fits of ammonia for the future carbon-free energy economy and presented our field of work, projects and part­ners. Our partner MET Motoren- und Ener­gie­technik GmbH presented inte­res­ting simu­la­tion work, for example on the subject of ammonia safety during bunker opera­tion. Further infor­ma­tion was shown by INP on the deve­lo­p­ment of a membrane reactor for the use of ammonia as fuel within our EU project HiPowAR. We are enorm­ously grateful for all sugges­tions from our visi­tors — they provide very important impulses for our roadmap deve­lo­p­ment and accep­tance work for the public.
