In the run-up to the symposium, the CAMPFIRE advisory board met in Stralsund to review a further outline together with the strategy team and representatives of the project executing organization Jülich and to open the way to implementation for project CF09_2 “Development and testing of 1500 W SOFC stack modules for direct ammonia operation for small and medium-sized ship propulsion systems up to 100 kW”. The project focuses on cost reduction and efficiency increase for new ammonia ship propulsion systems based on the high temperature fuel cell. Another point of discussion was the planning of upcoming steps for the implementation of the planned CAMPFIRE start-ups — an increasingly important focus in the Open Innovation Management of the CAMPFIRE Alliance. Many thanks to our advisory board for their support and helpful advice — we are looking forward to the new tasks!
