Eleventh meeting of the CAMPFIRE advisory board on 20.10.2022 in the Ozeaneum Stralsund

In the run-up to the sympo­sium, the CAMPFIRE advi­sory board met in Stral­sund to review a further outline toge­ther with the stra­tegy team and repre­sen­ta­tives of the project execu­ting orga­niza­tion Jülich and to open the way to imple­men­ta­tion for project CF09_2 “Deve­lo­p­ment and testing of 1500 W SOFC stack modules for direct ammonia opera­tion for small and medium-sized ship propul­sion systems up to 100 kW”. The project focuses on cost reduc­tion and effi­ci­ency increase for new ammonia ship propul­sion systems based on the high tempe­ra­ture fuel cell. Another point of discus­sion was the plan­ning of upco­ming steps for the imple­men­ta­tion of the planned CAMPFIRE start-ups — an incre­asingly important focus in the Open Inno­va­tion Manage­ment of the CAMPFIRE Alli­ance.
